Good for the basics on the industry machine

This is a basic introduction to the industry, which you will find useful if you haven't much knowledge of the film industry. I wouldn't so much recommend it to people who know about the industry already but who are just looking for a handy guide to refer to as a refresher from time to time.
The main problem is that it although it is up-to-date insofar as discussing digital etc, it feels outdated in that it's kind of from a conservative, Hollywood status-quo point of view, explaining how things *ought* to be. But the people who might need or use this book are probably going to find the old accepted way of doing things to be restrictive or at odds to what they're experiencing in the independent world.
