About the Author
Robyn L. Ford is a classroom teacher having taught all levels of chemistry and physics. She currently teaches a dual enrollment course in AP Chemistry and adjuncts at a local university. She is working toward her Ph.D. in Chemistry Education.
Charles Henrickson, Ph.D., is a retired professor of Chemistry at Western Kentucky University.

Best $10 I ever spent..

I slacked through Chemistry class in highschool, and I need to desperately get caught up. Currently, I'm using the CliffNotes Chemistry and Biology books to get me up to par with nursing school requirements. So far, I love this book. I'm doing between two-three chapters a week. With this book, I've gained a profound appreciation for chemistry and the sciences.

great litte primer

This book is very accessible and a handy reference. The sections i've read so far are clearly presented. I do have a background in physics and engineering, so this is reading for entertainment, rather than to pass a test, but i think it would serve a high school or college student in a first-year chemistry or physics class well, as a quick reference or alternate source for clarifying points.

Used it to prepare for TEAS exam

I hadn't taken chemistry so I used this to help me prepare for the TEAS exam which has chemistry as one of the sciences it tests you on. There were some parts of this book that went over my head and were explained as if you had prior chemistry knowledge; however, for the most part I understood the text and it was quite helpful.
